The Catalan Pyrenees, found on the border of Spain and France, are only a 2 hour bus ride from the center of Barcelona. I ventured to these mountains to satisfy my urge to ski (which was only enhanced by my recent trip to Switzerland). I was expecting weather similar to New England due to the elevation, but instead was surprised to ski in weather that was almost 60 degrees!

While the skiing was slightly impaired by the warm temperatures, the views did not disappoint.
Unfortunately my phone was not very accessible in my ski jacket so I was unable to capture more of the amazing scenery. One lift in particular allowed for the most amazing views- it took us between the two ski resorts (La Molina and Masella). From the top of the mountain, you could see the French Pyrenees and parts of Andorra!
