Krka National Park is about an hour drive from Split and definitely worth the car sickness. It is home to multiple breathtaking waterfalls and many miles of trails. Unfortunately, because we booked our trip through a tourism agency, we were only allotted a few hours to spend exploring the park. However, we passed many people with day packs utilizing all that this park has to offer. If I ever return, I hope to do the same!

This was one of the beautiful views from our bus on one of the many hairpin turns in the park.
Because of the time restraint, we were only able to walk this 1 mile loop around the park. The path was completely on this wooden platform, as we were surrounded by ponds and waterfalls on either side. One of the things we marveled at the most were the fish- they didn’t swim around much and seemed to stay stationary.

These are just a few of the waterfalls Krka had to offer!

After our 1 mile walk through the park, our tour guide loaded us on to a ferry, and took us to a small town nearby for lunch. Once again, the views did not disappoint.
The ferry dropped us off in Skradin, a quaint village home to some amazing seafood and talented local artists.
