Split was the second destination of my post grad trip! We kind of chose this city at random, but it ended up being one of my favorites. We lucked into having 80 degree days with pure sun, allowing us to hold on to the last bits of summer as we headed deeper into October.
We started our trip off with a putz featuring an obligatory rooftop view of the city.
We also walked by Diocletian’s Palace! This square was crowded by many Game of Thrones fans, as well as a wedding party. Did I mention that I managed to see one couple actively getting married at every destination on this trip?
Split from the water!
After many adventure filled days, we decided to spend our last full day in Croatia at the beach. We walked from Split Old Town to a beach (somewhat) nearby, and had beautiful views like this along the way.
After a short 2.5 mile walk in the 85 degree weather, we arrived at Plaža Kašjuni.
